Lifeline Helicopter Visits D26

Lifeline Helicopter from IU Health dropped in today to teach students from EMT, Fire & Rescue, CNA, Health Science, & Criminal Justice about aeromedical transport. The helicopter landed in a student-measured and cleaned LZ (landing zone). Students were able to discuss responsibilities, educational requirements, and careers of the pilot, paramedic and nurse. They were also able to ask questions about the helicopter after climbing inside. They also had the opportunity to listen to traffic between ground safety and the helicopter.
A big thank you to Mr. Stephenson, Anderson Fire Department, IU Health, IU Lifeline, IU ALS/ BLS, & Wes Bailey for this wonderful opportunity!!
