Return to School

The ACS school board passed a motion returning the school system to face to face instruction beginning 2/1/2021/  The plan the board approved is attached at the end of this document.  It will also be listed on our webpage, as well as on Facebook.

The basics of the plan are:

1. Return:

   1. ACS will return face-to-face to school on 02/01/2021.  

   2. Virtual option for families remains unchanged.
       

2. How:

   1. Grades pre-K-4 return to full in-person instruction.

   2. Grades 5 and 6 return in hybrid mode for two weeks and then move to full instruction on 2/16/21.

   3. Specials K-4 will continue to push-into classrooms with instruction.

   4. Specials 5-6 will continue to push out with instruction.

   5. Grades 7-12 return in a hybrid model.

Secondary will be evaluated at the end of the 3rd nine-week grading period to see if movement to a four-  or five-day week schedule is possible.
